Deleted now a stud question
Been deleted for two weeks now and can honestly say what a difference it has made as far as fuel mileage and power. But about how much does it cost to do studs. I got a heavy right foot and know im gone need em

You'd be looking at $3,000-4,000 in parts and labor.

studs, various gaskets, fuel lines is an easy 1000 bucks for replacement factory parts. |

What if you do studs before something bad happens? Still the same course of action involved?

You also need to be prepared just in case your cylinder heads are warped or cracked. That's going to be another $1000-1500.

I would go with new Ford cylinder heads through Sunrise Ford Parts. Cheaper route and will leave room to upgrade the valvetrain if you want to.

Jeff, any insight what max boost pressure should be on stock HG/studs or what people seem to be hitting safely and what they are hitting and blowing heads/studs/gaskets up at?
