I am a new owner and have been very pleased with my 09 6.4. I am interested in purchasing something to help monitor exhaust temps and provide me with a little more insight while pulling my camper. I just want to be able to keep a close eye when pulling my camper. Anyone have suggestions.

Spartan and h&s are the 2 most popular. Check them out and pick one of them that has the features you like.

I just assumed he meant tuner because the thread title said tuner.

You can still buy the H&S and use it only for gauges...just put it on "no power". You'll be able to monitor quite a bit and then you'll have the available power there if you feel like getting into some trouble.

That's a waste of money....if u want to monitor use the Edge cts insight, that's one of the best monitoring devices you can buy. I tune my truck with the h & s, but I use the edge cts for my gauge monitoring

There are lots of options if you want just a monitor.

If looking for a tuner I have a Spartan, and I would recommend H&S. I have 2 friends with H&S and it is way better.

If you are looking for just a monitor then add another mark to the Edge Insight CTS. I have one and it is awesome. Touch screen, and you can display almost anything. Here is a pic,
