Sinister coolant filter kit?

I just bought a 6.4, and been reading some preventative measures for certain issues with this engine... And was wondering if anyone is using this kit or something like it and if so, how they think if it's worth it or not. Thanks!

It doesnt really matter what brand you get but i highly recommend getting a coolant filter. I have the diesel site one.

Never mind I got my brands mixed up, I was thinking of PMM's kit. PMM Coolant Filter Alert I would go with the DieselSite one. http://www.dieselsite.com/2008-2010f...250350450.aspx

Make sure you check the hoses good. When i installed mine the fittings leaked at the filter block.

My kit should be here early this week, i was thinking of getting a new clean coolant tank, that way i can actually see how well its working and can get a better look at the coolant.
