Coolant Flush after EGR Cooler delete?

Is it recommended to do a coolant flush after the EGR Cooler delete? I see a couple of posts where they did it afterwards but is it going to hurt anything if I dont do it at the time of install? Thanks in advance

I dont think it will hurt anything but depending on the mileage its good maintenance. Also you should look at a coolant filter.

I will be doing my thermostats soon and don't think the dealer would have done so. Can someone help me with the process for flushing the entire system? What amounts I would need and the best coolant? I'm still searching around the forums to find out.
