h&s pyro egt problem

just noticed today that my pyro 1 on my 08 is showing the temps as normal but then would drop and spike back up with no adjustment or difference in load on the engine (600f - 200f then back to 650f) all in a second.

is that the factory probe failing?

MIne did the same thing. Factory probe went bad. $34 to fix it. And while the connections are the same for the probes in the DPF, the insertion depth is different. Not completely sure it will fit.
