EGR delete
Can someone give me a quick rundown of the EGR delete. I thought about blocker plates but I am curious the best setup is. I've searched and searched and have just ended up confused as hell. Do I just need blocker plates or should I ditch the valve and pipe all together?

You can do just blocker plates, but the best set up is a full egr and cooler delete with elbow. By doing the full delete you can get rid of the coolers to prevent future failure as well as free up the intake. The egr/intake elbow is pretty restrictive once you get it off and look at it.

Do the full delete. I did the FloPro and it has worked great for me. Make sure you get the elbow tho. Helps a little with spool and def makes a better air flow path.

I agree with the above. Do the full delete with the intake elbow.

Did the FloPro myself about two weeks ago. Took me 6 hours and a dozen beer. It is actually very easy. Go to FloPro site. Search for EC64 and then download the instructions file.

With the block off kits do you have to have a programmer to turn the egr valve off so you don't get a code?

I'm like 98% sure you do need a tuner for block off plates.
