H&S tuner question
Just installed the min/max about 3 days ago. Question is what are good levels to set the defuel numbers at? Second question is what is the best setting for your truck for the smoking? I'll go ahead and ask a 3rd question. How do you get the 1sm tranny tune?

If you have version 6.4.33 or later you should have been given the option of motor and tranny tunes when you installed the download. The low boost fueling setting will help with smoke 0 = least and 5 = most. Did you select dpf installed or removed?

Forgot to mention in the adjustable power level settings, no power will produce less smoke and as you work your way up to hot you will produce more.

I don't run any defuels
if you want the least smoke, run the easy tunes with low boost fuel on zero |

Yea I have a later version. My tranny tune is either schedule one or two, but it's 1ss or 2ss not 1sm like others are posting. Also I'm wondering what is best for the truck when I ask about the smoking. Just to clear things. Thanks for the input

I'm more confused now

You must be as confused as me about the tranny settings.

You must have the settings mixed up. There are 6 different transmission tunes. S1L, S1M, S1H these lock to tc in 4 and 5. If you don't choose a transmission tune during the download I believe the default is S1M. There are also S2l, S2M and S2H that only lock the tc in 5.

Ahhhh I understand now! I was confused ha, that cleared it up on the trans settings. So what is the best one for normal driving?

I have been using s1m for towing and daily driving. It has decent shift points and with the 4&5 tc lockup it keeps the temps from rising as quickly as the s2 tunes.
