New to me f250

Well after a failed attempt at purchasing an 08 f250 xlt I finally struck gold and purchased an 09 shadow grey f250 Lariat. I'm coming from the mustang world so everything is new to me. I've been on these forums day in and day out trying to learn as much as I can.

I do have a question about exhaust though. If I get a downpipe back system...that includes the dpf and cat delete correct? For instance I'm looking at purchasing this Diamond Eye K5368A 5" Down Pipe Back DPF Race No Bungs Single AL: 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke F250/f350 Is that all I need as far as exhaust goes and is diamond eye easy fitting no cutting or anything?

I know I need the tuner and intake etc.. but i'm piecing this together. I just want to make sure I have everything I need for the exhaust first, plus a tip of course.

Thanks for the help!

don't put a tip on it

you may have to cut one pipe, but otherwise it will be pure bolt-in

Downpipe back you don't need to cut anything it's a direct bolt on. Turbo back you need to remove the stock downpipe which requires can off or cutting.

Congrats on the new rig!

Yes, a down pipe back kit will delete the DPF/Cat. It will bolt to the bottom of the down pipe and replace everything from there back. Thats all you really need for exhaust, you can add a down pipe later if you feel the need.

Let us know if we can help with anything.

I have the same exhaust plus the 4" down pipe. I absolutely love it. Look at my sig for mods. What all I have is about the same setup as a lot of guys here run.
