Best mini maxx tranny tune

Just purchased mini maxx, 5" dp back, and S&B. I got it for fuel mileage. What is the tranny tune that is best or closest to factory? Previous threads I saw S1M.

I think the s2l is closest to factory. I tried the s2 tunes though and found that they heat the tranny up alot faster without the 4tc lockup that the s1 tunes have. I switched back to s1m after realizing this and have been using it for quite a few kms now with no complaints.

Tried S2M for a couple hundred kms and wasnt a fan of the 4th and 5th lockup. Swithced back to S1M and its seems much smoother for some reason and suits my driving style/needs better as well...

You must mean that the other way. S1 locks up in 4 and 5, S2 only locks in 5.

I'm running the S2 with the latest shifts and I like it for its response and you barley have to adjust the throttle to accelerate. Turbo stays spooled or spools with ease but I'm running a single so my results may be different. I do know due to the later shifts and no lock up in 4th Im down about 2 MPG, but my trans still runs in the 155-165 range.

Haha. No problem. Just trying to eliminate a little confusion. I actually had to think about it a little myself.

We have found that S2M is the closet to stock shifting.

What seems to be the best tow tune for heavy towing and still keep trans temp down?
