EGR ?

I purchased Mini Max, 5" dp back, S&B Intake. Should I do the EGR block or the delete? The delete looks kinda complicated.

The Mini will shut off the EGR but will still allow the coolant to flow. Deleting the EGR will prevent coolant from entering your engine cylinders if one of the coolers break. I would do it if, you don't have inspections in your state.

Side note. If you don't delete, try to make sure the tune will cycle the EGR valve at idle. This will help prevent the valve from sticking.

All we have here is safety inspection for diesels. I ordered the delete kit already "Flo-Pro EGR/Cooler Delete w/ Elbow " I just got little nervous when I saw the thread on doing the work.

It's not bad. I did the FloPro. It took longer than I planned but wasn't too bad. Just find some good friends.

The install of a full EGR delete is not all that complicated, it just takes time since there is so much to remove. There are a few ticks to help out along the way, Eric here at the shop can help if you need it. We suggest our EGR kit, but the Flo-Pro one works great as well.
