Mini Maxx Questions

I just bought the Mini Maxx, AFE delete pipe, and Drop in AFE filter from Alligator Performance.

My question is, I installed the tuner first after updating it to run for a week before doing the exhaust. When I went through the download process, there were no options for tranny tune etc. The only options were DFP present/not and tire size. Do the other options show up after you select the DPF not present?

I just wanted to make sure before I did the exhaust this weekend and re-tuned it.

The truck is a 2009 F350 King Ranch with a 10" Fabtech Lift with traction bars and 37" Toyo MT's.

As a side note the folks at Alligator Diesel Performance were amazing! I ordered the Mini Maxx seperate from the other stuff so I could get the free overnight shipping and it ALL showed up the next day! It was 21 hours from when I ordered it until it was at my door. I was seriously shocked!

Thank you all in advance.

Correct. You will have to select removed to access the other options.

No problem! Once you get it deleted it will really bring a smile to your face.

I have been putting around in the 120 tune this last week annd it was amazing. Once she can breathe I can only imagine!

How much time should I set aside to do the delete pipe, it SEEMS pretty simple? On some writeups I see them saying to seperate it between the CAT and DPF, and some not. Any preference?

separating them is a waste of time/effort

take a file or grinder and bevel the pipe on the 3.5" dia end where the factory pipe/muffler is to slide over it.

also, take a ball peen hammer and hit the splits in the factory pipe to flare them out slightly

I can do a 6.4 delete pipe install in about an hour start to finish

I would say all in one peice. It is a little heavy but do-able by yourself.

Update!

So we finally got to the DPF delete last night and hit the road to do the tranny relearn process. When it came to the full throttle run I had a priceless moment with my 16 year old.

Him: Dad, did you hear that whistling/squealing noise? Is that the turbo making it?

Me: No that was both rear tires breaking loose and spinning!

Him: But they are 37" Toyos on a really heavy truck.

Me: Yes they are son, awesome!
