Busy morning.......minimaxx, s&b, and 5" dp back
![]() Intake and mini was a cakewalk.....stock exhaust, not so much. Damn pipe between last section and dpf stayed on the back section with the mule kick. Was finally able to wiggle that piece off back section. Then too dpf up to downpipe out in 1 section. I was worried 5" was gonna look too big for my taste but man its just right. ![]() After stock was out took mayb 30 min to get the mbrp system on. Im on 250 hp tune for now. And s2m. Tranny was shifting hard right after install. But did the 0-80 thing three times in hot and tranny is perfect now on wild power. So cool to "roll coal" haha. Not a single problem so far after bout 50 miles.....knockin wood....anybody on the fence get off this is a friggin awesome setup. Install time for all 3 was 5 hrs by myself....and im a noob. Oh yeah and had to get out of throttle on the last 0-80 cuz tires broke loose goin from 1st to 2nd....oh the joy. Last edited by djburkeen; 08-02-2012 at 07:15 PM. |

I installed almost the exact same thing last night and my stock exhaust was a pain as well broke a few clamps and skinned a few knuckles. Wait until you try the HD300 tune thing is wild!!

Well I've been on the fence about going ahead with the 5" exhaust or just a delete pipe. How does it sound?

I just switched from a delete pipe to a 5" dp back and I really like how it sounds as compared to just a delete pipe. kind of wish I would have done it sooner.

Thank you for saving me a little cash. I'm probably going to go ahead with the exhaust to start with
