Airaid any good?

Hey guys,

I'm modifying my 6.4 and so far I have the H&S tuner and popped the airminder on one launch. So, I asked for the AFE at my local speed shop but he insisted I try the air aid.

So I installed it. The sound is pretty deep, but my main concern is its quality. Is it good? I ordered a pre filter just in case but I can't find much info on it.

I haven't heard of anyone having is issues with them. I don't know of anyone running a prefilter with them either.

Probably not a bad idea to run one if you do a lot of off road or dusty places...

I've been running an Airaid CAI in a 6.0 for over 100k miles. Never seen a speck of dust make it past the filter.

Been running it for a few weeks with the prefilter. Needless to say, it's loud and sounds AMAZING!
