Degas bottle

Looking to move my batteries and get rid of the stock degas for access to underhood space. Can you use an aluminum coolant expansion tank designed for race cars instead of the factory degas. I can't see any issues as long as you used a 16lb cap. Has anyone had experience with it? Moroso makes direct fit tanks for mustangs that use the stock mustang caps. Are the mustang caps and the super duty caps the same thread pitch? They look like they'd have more capacity than then like a 2 quart universal racing tank. Thanks in advance

Can't speak for degas bottle but a mustang and f250 cap are the same.

I don't see anything wrong with using that degas bottle as long as you use a 16lb or less cap. I would like to see a write up on the whole thing you do as that would be nice to get rid of the cheap plastic one. And I wouldn't mind seeing what you do with the batteries as well.
