which tuner do I get
I have a 2008 6.4 and am trying to decide between a spartan and the sct. I know the spartan seems to have unlimited potential but the biggest thing I am looking for is reliability and mileage as well as some extra horse for tooling around. I seldom pull trailers but when I do its a horse trailer for my girlfriend or my toy hauler for my quads. Thanks for looking and for your input.

You'll get more tunes out of the box with a Spartan Phalanx than any other tuner on the market. Let me know if you have any questions.

Yeah SCT compared to Spartan is like apples and oranges bro. I have SCT and hate it.

keep in mind the sct requires you to keep the sensors for the exhaust plugged in while H&s and spartan allow you to unplug them and just tape them up to keep water, salt and other debris out. and getting the sensors out of the dpf isnt very fun.
find a used H&S and be done hahaha |

I have a Spartan and I love it. I know there are a lot of people out there with an SCT or the H&S that love them, and also people who hate them. Just do some research and take your pick on what you want. I kinda wonder what the H&S would have been like. I kinda like all the tuning options that the H&S tuners have (I'm an engineer and a tinkerer, so having options to change things would be awesome, but I like my Spartan). |
