6.4 ZF S6-650 manual transmission swap kit (from auto to manual): FOR SALE 4X4 ONLY
Hey guys, I've got a transmission swap kit for a 6.4 powerstroke with only 5,xxx miles on the setup. My previous transmission grenaded recently, so I decided to put a 6 speed in it. There is nothing wrong with it whatsoever, transmission shifts through all gears, no funny noises, nothing. Bolts right up to the transfer case and transmission mount brackets. I just want a heavy duty automatic that i can trust not to fail me in a DD truck.
The kit includes: A Southbend clutch assembly. Clutch is a double disk ceramic race clutch rated for 700hp ad 1,400 ft-lbs of torque with a 3,600lb pressure plate (pilot shaft alignment tool included), flywheel and flywheel spacer. The engine rear cover/adapter plate to mate transmission to engine. No, the bellhousings are not the same between the automatic and manual. Clutch pedal, master cylinder/slave cylinder assembly Shift tower, stick, knob, and shifter boot All fasteners (bolts) The only problem i had was with the harness on the transmission. it disables the "START" position on the key switch. what i had to do was run a wire from the starter solenoid to a button, then from the button to the battery. the key still turns the truck on and everything works fine. im asking $6,500 for the whole kit, because it cost me more than that to put it together and everything is still in good condition. i live in florida, so im not exactly sure how anyone out of state would be purchasing it. i would be glad to let you drive the truck and see how you like it before i tear it apart lol. Message me for details |

I am interested in your "kit" is it still available?
Can you post some pictures of the equipment? Where in Fla are you located? I make runs down there from time to time. Cheers |

Something seems fishy here. What did you do to make the computer happy? As soon as you lose inputs to the tcm that will shut the pcm down. The truck will not run. You have to change the computer to a manual tranny version. You have to change the trucks vin number and this is something that is not easily done and Ford techs are not allowed to do.

Yep there are a couple of things nto quite right here.
One the price is a bit high. Two only three posts and one was just like this on the 18th, but I can seem to find it on the forum. And then there is the no response to where are you located.... Maybe the moderator should add this guy to the list of scammers.

We converted that black pulling truck from an auto to a zf6 and I will promise you that you can't get them to run right with an h&s or sct.
