Cts insight on 6.4- Monitoring purposes only

I have the mini max, but compared to the cts, it just flat out sucks for monitoring the truck. You only have 4 options to monitor and the screen size blows compared to the cts.

Since I don't change tunes all the time, I just run the hot tune. Then having the cts to monitor everything, that would suite me better.

Anybody else doing this? I just came to the 6.4 from a 6.0, and I just can't stop thinking about how better of a display the cts is!

I love the cts too, and the back up cam option. It was sweet. I don't see why you couldn't. I know you can unplug the h&s and it will just stay on whatever power level it was left on so your good there. I don't see why not. I might have to trade my mini for the xrt pro and cts. Maybe h&s new black maxx coming out will have more options. I may have to wait to see what it offers.

ordered a cts... Definitley the way to go for monitoring the truck...if it's so important why the hell does h&s and these other guys make a better tuner/monitoring package?! Can't wait for it to come in and be back to normal!

do you have a pic of your h and s monitor in your truck? from what i gear from people thay are tiny.

2008 f250 ccsb 4x4 lariat.. 8 inch lift, 24in fuel hostage, 40in ss m16, Arp studs, egr delete, street diesel performance down pipe, intake elbow and cac pipe, Diesel site boots, xrt pro with kem tunes, s&b intake, 5 inch exhaust, edge cts, tinted mirror lights, pioneer 8400 double din, hid headlights and fogs, two jl audio 13tw5 with rockford 1500 watt amp, jl audio door speakers and tweeters, prestige 2 way alarm and remote start.

00 f350 lariat 7.3 cc lb. (the worker)

for me the size of the mini is almost perfect. wish it was a tad bigger so i could read the max egts without leaning in and squinting.

i do wish it was capable of showing one more gauge than it does. right now i monitor the egt, boost, eot, and ect. wish there was one more spot for the trans temp. have to switch gauges when i tow heavy.

off question here but how do you like the sound of the 6.4 vs 6.0.?
