New and need Help

Two days ago I bought a 2008 F350 Harley with 17,600. I thought it was all stock but just got under it to check it out and noticed the DPF is gone and a straight pipe that had a sticker on it for "off road use only" is in its place. This wouldn't be a bad thing because I do plan on modding it but I have not idea what tuner was used to run this. My question is if I want to put a Mini Max or any other tuner in it do I have to bring it to ford and have it reflashed before installing a new tuner or can I just install the new one the way it is. I know I should of known it wasn't stock when it was faster then all the other trucks I test drove

Not if u use h&s. I just found this out but the h&s does not save your stock tune. It has the ford tunes inside it and put ones of the ford tunes it has saved inside it back on your truck. This way all u need to do is buy an h&s and plug it in and go about tuning the truck as if it was stock. Problem solved.
