pros/cons?
found a bunch of rust like particles in my filter housings. changed filters under 10k miles and drained every month. dont want to dirty particles to destroy my fuel system. |

I have an Air Dog II and never looked back. The only complaint I have is the mount. It's hard to position it where it doesn't touch the cab. It makes an annoying popping noise when the truck flexes. Some grinding can fix that though.

X2 on the mount I had to grind it to get it to fit but other then that it's great

Mount is a painand if you have a crew cab short bed the lines are a tight fit between the fuel tank and transfer case I bought a 90 fitting and put it on the " to engine" side

I also have an airdog II. I love it. It makes filter changes and draining the water seperator much easier.

Not to stray from the OPs topic, but do any of you guys have the air dog running straight to the HPFP? I don't quite understand whats needed for this delete, and do BOTH the OEM filters/housings get removed when deleted? If someone could explain to me where the fuel goes after the Air Dog with a fuel bowl delete I would really appreciate it

I am also curious about that mod. I know elite makes the kit for $600. It does get rid of the fuel bowl on the motor but im not sure what it involves. I would also like to know more about it. I think it just deletes the fuel bowl and pumps directly to the HPFP.
