screen won't light up on edge cs

today I left my truck idle for 20 minutes while I loaded a machine and when I got into the truck my edge cs was blank. I pressed the enter and menu button and nothing. I had been driving the truck all day wo any issues. I called edge and they said to check the lighter fuse, lighter works fine, as does the power port. I have not had a problem with the programmer at all and have done the updates as available. I don't need all the high power tunes and like the gauges with this unit. Any advice would help. I was told by edge that the tunes are loaded and the monitor does not need to be hooked up after the tune is loaded to drive the vehicle.

I had my edge cs did the same thing but when I called edge they told me it was the back light and it was under warrenty and they replaced it at no cost and to top it off they let me upgrade to the cts for a few buck more.

A batch of the units had an issue with the back light going out. It's a common thing and edge knows about it. My Cs was out of warranty and they fixed it for free no questions asked. I had to pay to send just the screen in but that's it.
