How many tunes come with spartan and H&S

Just trying to figure which tuner I want to go with. How many different tunes come with each of these two tuners? Can you tow with any of the tunes? I like the idea of shift on the fly, but if spartan comes with more tune options..... Can you use the tow/haul button with any of the tunes verses using a tow tune? Doesnt the spartan take a while changing tunes?

Also is one easier to install verses the other? And mounting, does one mount better than the other? I heard the spartan has better monitoring than the H&S.

I can only speak for H&S but the install is super easy and they come with 4 tunes out of the box. You can download many more including custom tranny tunes as well. Plus if they come out with new tunes, they are free to download. Give H&S a call and they can answer any question. Also check out ptp when you are ready to order.

How many tunes can you store on the h&s at any given time, only 4? Can you tow with the higher HP tunes safely?

H&S has 12 tunes
Easy with 4 shift on the fly settings
Mild with 4 shift on the fly settings
Hot damm 4 shift on the fly
Easy tunes cycle the EGR

6 transmission tunes - 3 that lock the tc in 4th and 5th gear low med and high shift points & 3 that lock the tc only in 5th gear with low med and high shift points
They don't have a specific tune for towing.

Also they say not to use the tow haul in any setting other than the stock setting in any of the tunes easy mild or hot damm unless it is just being used for the purpose of slowing down coming down a hill or stuff like that

And you keep all 12 tunes on the hand held device or only 4 at a time? Sorry just trying to nail this down. I'm leaning towards the h&s right now

the latest update gives you all levels and all transmission schedules to choose from while loading to the truck. No more updating to change any of that

Quick question, so does that mean when i do the latest update on the h&s website i dont have to pick the hot damn tunes and the shift schedule i want? It automatically loads all of them and then i choose when im downloading it to the truck?
