Air Intake for 6.4

Just got my first diesel a 2008 Ford F350. Loving it. Want to put an air intake and have looked at K&N cold air and aFe magnum force stage 2. What is best for this powerstroke?

I have been leaning towards the aFe, s&b is hard to find at my local parts shops may have to look at online order.

When you say "are", are you meaning AFE?

S&B for me. I have the old design. Its a little tougher to clean the filter on the old design. To my understanding the new design is much easier.

Do you run with the plastic cover on or off? I was sucking in the filter minder on the hotter tunes on WOT runs. Now that i took off the plastic cover it doesn't do it any more.

I'm running my S&B without the cover and I have had no problems.
