Race day
Hey guys, so June 16th by my house at bryon race track my buddy changelled me to a race this is what he has below
05 ford f250 supercab short bed 4wd 6.0 powerstroke AEM intake ARP studs Full EGR delete Air dogg 2 66mm turbo non VGT 180cc injectors FICM mild tune SCT custom tune from IDP Banks intercooler This is what I have 08 F350 crew cab short bed 4WD 6.4 powerstroke S&B CAI DPF/CAT delete SCT live wire with IDP xtreme race tune MRBP passenger side intercooler pipe Both trucks are factory lift and tire size...who do you guys think will win? |

you. i have a 6.0 and know what they run like. you have it all day! he wont be far behind tho

That's what I thought that it would be a close race I honestly thought it was going to come down to the driver

well if he does a boosted launch and you dont then yea it will be a driver thing but truck for truck you will have him
|

He may take you based on being lighter, with the 180s and 68mm turbo. That should put the 6.0L in the mid-500s easy. What do you think your 6.4L is putting to the ground?

Should be pretty close, your probably a touch lighter than him but it more than likely going to come down to who can get the jump.

Practice your boost launches before hand...
You should be able to build boost faster than his 66mm so... boost a little lower to avoid tire spin and hope he tries to go crazy boost... |

With those 180's and 66 he is going to be hard to beat. If he can boost hard enough and not get to much wheel spin he will launch hard. If his tranny is weak and cant get the power to the ground then you will have a better chance.
