Stacks???

Alright so I can't figure out the obsession with stacks. I can't see why a big pipe in the bed of your truck is cool but anyway a coworker and I were wondering what happens when it rains? Does your stack just fill up with rain or where I live, Alaska, what happens when it snows a foot? Does it just load up and then u hope when u start your truck it just blows out?

Some times it's not an obsession but actually has reasoning behind it like keeping soot off of a trailer or your daily/pull truck needs a vertical exhaust to qualify at the pulls. Regardless it is to each and everyone's own in my opinion. My truck came with them, i like them, i left em that way. As far as rain and now, in either situation usually some of it drains out and the rest sits in there till i start it, in which case it is blown out. Doesn't usually restrict or make it harder to start and would be very difficult to get enough snow or rain to fill back into the motor.
