Mini max shift issues

I'd like some info on adjusting shift points mainly the 4/5 gears. The truck since the programmer was put on isn't shifting into 5 til 84kmph which sucks with the speed limit at 80. After it goes into 5 after 84 as soon as you slow down and drop below 84 the trans downshifts and will sit in 4 down to 50ish km/h It's creating hard shifts and unnecessary shifts in traffic doing 80-83

Ideally I'd like the truck under normal cruising conditions to shift into 5 earlier and only downshift in 4 if I put my foot into it.

Yea, your prolly running s1m because that's default, pick either schedule 1 or 2 with early shifts

S1m hits 5th at 55. I have been running s2l and if your not heavy on the skinny pedal it locks up in 5th at 50 mph.

I thought all the H&S shift schedules were speed dependent and did not use throttle position?

I don't know. But I do know if I am running hard it will lock later. I have seen this running the s1l and the s2l.

Probably just some lag then. I'm pretty sure all the schedules have their own fixed shift points.

I'm kinda a newbie at this. Is this something I can do with tuner in the truck or do I have to pull it out and load something .Like I said TOTAL newbie at this

You have to take out your sd card, go to h&s updater, pick another trans tune from the drop down menu, update the card then reinstall the firmware on the mini max & install the download. You will have to go through this every time to change tranny tunes. I just bought a couple sd cards and loaded up some different combos for convenience.
