Airdog Filter leaking?

Anyone had trouble with their airdog leaking out the water drain? The filter that came with the kit leaked out the drain valve. I ended up finding a Donaldson filter locally and replaced it tonight, but it seems like its leaking out the drain too. Cleaned it up good after I put it on and had it dry; took it out for a drive and it was wet at the drain.

I dont want to strip the drain out; how tight can you go with them?

If you loosten the piece that threads into the actual filter, you can see a small stopper in there that prevents the fuel from coming out. That may be not sealing correctly. I've seen it happen a few times.
