First diesel

Searched but could not find what I was looking for. Is it Better to have a turbo back exhaust or a specific down pipe, dpf and cat replacement and then exhaust, what mods determines the size of pipe 4" or 5"
Thanks

For the average person a 4" DP back exhaust is fine. 5" will net you a deeper tone, but not much sound, and no real performance over a 4". If you want the lowest EGT's possible an aftermarket 4" DP and 5" exhaust is the way to go. For the standard daily driver with a tuner, a cat/DPF delete pipe will do you just fine. Its all in how much noise you want.

The only reason I did not go with the turbo back, was if I needed to return truck to stock it would be that much more of a pain to remove. Like I have said before, if you are going to buy exhaust, you might as well buy the 5", it looks better and it sounds better.
