Air bag help!
Does anyone know where or who has air bag helpers that will fit with a gooseneck hitch installed? All the ones I've seen say they don't fit with gooseneck/5th wheel installed. I see that my hitch bolts to the frame where the airbag brackets probably go, but I would think someone has something that would work.
Any ideas would be great! Sent from my Autoguide iPhone app |

Do you have a B&W gooseneck hitch? If so firestone makes a bag that bolts up with the B&W. Thats what I have on my truck.

Go down and talk to the dealer you want to buy from. They absolutely have different mounting brackets to accommodate the GN/5er rails. I have air bags on mine and had to get a different part number kit due to the bracket differences. Sorry, I don't recall the part number off the top of my head.

It is a b&w hitch. I'll check on the Firestone ones and see what I can come up with. Thanks!

Do any of you have the compressor and controller or did you just route the lines out to fill manually? I found the right kit for my GN and was wonder whether to drop the extra coin for the onboard controls.

I cheaped out and went with the manual fill. I kick myself to this day that I didn't spring for the onboard controls. I'm going to mount up an air compressor to my toy hauler, but in the meantime, I'm considering the Air Lift wireless air compressor setup.

Im the same as you. I have manual fills. I dont adjust the pressure that often, but it would be nice to have an onboard air set up. My co worker has that same set up and he seems to like it.
