Snow Performance Boost Cooler Tow-Max
I'm thinking about doing this Power-Add on instead of a DPF delete, and tuner, Does anyone have any input that has done this?
How detailed was the installation, Could I do this installation my self if I went this way? Would it be better to have a Diesel Mech do the install for me? Thank |

I would like to know too. I would like to drop those high EGT's......and gain some performance and milage too.

This will keep your egt's cooler but the power added is minimal at best. Also on a stock truck your egt's arent going to be of huge concern. Do the DPF delete. Your truck will last longer, get better mileage, and power as a bonus. On a tuned truck this kit will help, but there are better ways to drop your egt's. Full downpipe, coldside pipe, and intake elbow.

I would also recommend a DPF delete before a water meth system.

The Snow water/meth kit is a great option for those who dont want to delete the DPF. The water/meth does an excellent job cleaning the intake manifold (EGR makes a HUGE mess) and keeps the pistons squeaky clean, not to mention the overall power and efficiency gains you will get.
The Water/meth kits also work great on the trucks that have been deleted for the exact same reasons stated above. |
