Sensitive throttle issue

My F-450 starts surging. Stops only when I "floor it". Thought at first it was the hiway, cruise control, weight of ToyHauler, speed, etc. etc. Can I re-program my BlackMaxx Mini to stop this. It is a true PITA. THX

Yes, you can download transmission "Schedule 2", which will help to reduce throttle sensitivity. Some vehicles, specifically F-450's with short gearing, will lock too early and can make for a touchy throttle. Try Schedule 2 High(S2H) or Schedule 2 Med(S2M) and I think it will get you taken care of. If you still have issues please let us know and we will be happy to point you in the right direction!

Throttle issue.

I didn't mention my 4.88 gears, NOR the fact, that even pulling 18K# ToyHauler, I am in torque lock fifth gear at 45 mph. Going up some Colorado mountains, my tuner defuels me cuz I am at 1400 degrees. I did already change my coolant parameter to 230 degrees cuz of the de-fueling. Thx. Now to find my patch chord from laptop to tuner. RATS.

No laptop to tuner USB cord needed, only the Micro SD card adapter. If you have lost it, any Micro SD card adapter will work just fine. Below is a link to our update application for your convenience. Please let us know if you have any issues!
