Will a livewire run with no bungs

I got an sct programmer and Im looking at doing a temporary exhaust until I get more money. My temporary idea is to take a stack off a tractor and mount it to the downpipe or cat but with no bungs.

Will this work or will it shut the truck off?

The sct requires the sensors so I doubt you could run it without them. In other words, free bump. Hopefully someone comes along with a for sure answer

as long as the sensors are plugged in it will run, your sensors won't read though....(egt's)

When I say run without it I mean will the truck shut off. I know that running it without bungs will make the check engine light come on. However it might not shut off.
