Which torque converter to go with??

So I'm looking to upgrade my torque converter and have a few options to choose from. Before hand though can someone tell me what the difference is though between a triple disc billet and the one from ats?? I'm running an edge race ego, afe dpf delete exhaust and a s&b intake. Nothing big but have plans to go to a black maxx from h&s. Would I have to do more to keep the reliability I'm the tranny??

The stock 5R110 tranny is pretty darn tough. I have heard some pretty crazy testimonies of these tranny's holding up. I however wasn't so lucky, but I also bought my truck used from a dealership and I didn't know its previous history of use or abuse. With the mods you have/going to get, you should be fine. Torque converter would be a nice upgrade for sure. I would hold out on a built tranny until you either have to buy one, or until you get a bit more intense with your build. I honestly can't tell you much about the triple disc billet vs ATS. 08stroker250 is extremely knowledgeable, so i would pay attention to his advise and maybe do a little research on the RCD converter he mentioned

Thanks for the help guys. My truck is a full time welding truck, and hauls a skid around everywhere in the box. Probably around 2500-3000lb. mark. So reliability is my biggest concern. Down time=lost money in day and age.
