guys that have run both h&s and spartan! Need your opinions!

Like the titles says, I am looking at getting a Spartan. I love my H&S w/ the KEM tunes but I'm not one to leave things alone! I just wanted to know what your opinions are between the two. Please only post if you have run both, or are an "expert". Also, please post what other mods you had done with them. I know there are plenty of these kinds of threads but I wanted one strictly to hear opinions of guys that are familiar with both. Thanks!

Spartan released all the tunes

Trading tuners would not work. You can't tune multiple trucks with the Spartan Phalanx unless other licenses are purchased.

But isnt it pretty cheap to transfer a liscense now

Here's a thread I posted when I swapped from spartan to h&s/Kem. Kem and spartan tunes are really similar. The only difference I saw was in shifting. Spartans shifts were bone jarring when they dont need to be. Wot need to be hard, 30mph in a neighbor hood doesnt. I do think he dashdaq is a better monitor though. I wouldn't switch back.

It's $100 if the tuner is returned to stock. It would be $100 for his truck and then once you decided to take it back, it would be an additional $100.

The shifting with our tunes has come a long way since then. I believe we've had several updates since you made the switch.

I sold my tuner to a buddy of mine and he runs the updated tunes in his truck. They have come a long way. Glad to see y'all have worked out the kinks.
