H&S mini max running question **HELP**

alright this may be covered but i couldn't find it, i need to take my truck into the stearlership for some warranty work. can i run my truck dpf delete full exhaust tuner un plugged? will the dealership know other than driving the truck that there is a tuner on it? any help would be great thanks

I leave mIne plugged up but I knOw my dealer. Better not take the chance and put it back to stock if they flag your truck your warranty is history.

Yes it will just stay in the setting it was in when it was unplugged.

sweet i am taking the truck in for a oil leak below the pulleys i am not hard on the truck i run the tuner in mild all the time. the oil seems to be minor but i still have 10,000 miles left on my bumper to bumper so i wanted to get it looked at. well they be able to tell if the truck is tuned if they did not know you need one to install a dpf delete? thanks for the help i appreciate it this is my first diesel truck and i love it!!

it just seems to be a huge *** pain to put the dpf and cat back on for a minor oil leak who knows ill kick it around and see what i do

Hopefully they won't mess with no computer stuff, you know how some of them techs are. My buddy works for ford and he does all the work on our trucks if it's something I can't do and he wants it back to stock so he don't mess up the tuning.

i agree , i have a mini max on my 6.0 and its not hard at all to return your truck back to stock . if you have any problems h&s will be more than happy to help you out ...i wouldnt chance leaving the h&s tunning on the ecm they could try to reflash it or something of that nature . good luck

before you take the truck in go see the service advisor and see if you could pull him to the side and talk to him, also try greaseing the palm that could point you in the right direction.
