how many miles is to many miles on a 6.4?

what would be the maximium number of miles you guys would recommend when buying a 6.4 to tune, delete, if high miles, stud it and use the saved money to mod it with turbo's tranny and studs. what is your quys take on this? yay or nay

It depends on how the previous owner took care of it....maintenance is the key with the 6.4. Me personally.....I would find the lowest mile 6.4 that you can afford and still mod. If you can get one with lower miles and delete, you will have a truck you can depend on for the long haul.

As long as there have been regular oil/fuel filter changes, quality components, and the truck hasnt been abused......your really fine with however many miles it might have. These trucks are built to last. The regular wear items are going to poop out on you no matter if your tuned, abused, or just stock and grandpa'd.
