Lucas Oil Additives

I want to add Lucas Oil addictives to my oil and transmission. Does anyone have opinions or know anything about this stuff?

It is worth it then? What about for the transmission? I know they are kinda finicky and I Don't want to mess anything up at the higher power outputs.

i guess i wont hurt anything , these trans dont really give much problems

Lucas wont hurt anything in a 6.4.

Not really necessary though if you're using a quality oil IMHO.

I'm bumping this back into action because i use MC 15W40 and I always run Powerstroke Specific Lucas Oil Additive when i change the oil...just one quart. It was my understanding that the Heavy duty bottle for big rigs is forbidden in our trucks, but the full synthetic PSD is supposed to be great for ours. Any facts or oil analysis run with this stuff?

it's like $18 bottle...it's almost worth it to buy a synthetic blend for an extra $18. I was running synthetic and the PSD Lucas Oil, but i figured it was a bit overkill. Anyone else's opinion?
