PTP egr delete installed now a ?

I installed my egr delete sat. morning and it was not bad at all. I wish i would of been able to take the brackets off for the coolers but owell. Now here is my question. I have 197k on my truck, when i pulled the piece off that is on top of my intake i did not have all that black gunk that everyone else with higer miles has had. I will post pictures of mine and someone elses to show the difference. Is this something i should be worried about or do i just have a great running truck haha?

Kinda a newb, but I believe that's a good thing. Could also be that it has been cleaned along the way, at some point during a dealership servicing or before you bought it.

By the looks of it, yours is normal. The picture of someone elses gunk looks pretty extreme. When I deleted mine it was the same as yours with 130k miles. Your good to go.

Could be why you have gone 197K and not see any major problems. I wouldnt take it as a bad sign though. Just good maintenance and a running rig overall.

Mine looked like yours too pretty clean I installed the same kit a few weeks ago. My truck is at 179kms and it's been spartan tuned pretty much all it's life I've been told by the original owner. Made me feel better buying knowing the dpf was deleted most of the time.

Mine had 83K on it and looked like the first pic. It has been cleaned out since though
