deleting dpf

if I delete the dpf on the exhaust will I see better milage per gal I have put a k 7 n performance air filter on alredy my truck is getting to much air intake and it is making engine lite to come on dash saying dpf is bad so would it be worth deleting the dpf

I haven't done mine yet, but dont you have to have a tuner before you do the aftermarket intake? An any other mod?

That depends on which CAI you use. I ran my S&B for awhile before I deleted and tuned....I had no issues.
