I am currently running the S2M and thinking of changing to S2L.. Right now my TC locks up at like 56-57 and I cruise at 50 to my work, so its not helping my fuel mileage since rpm's are up.

I run the S2M also, however, with my 33's and gear set I lock up right at 50mph. I corrected my speedo with the H&S

I too ran back and forth between settings. Of all I prefer S2L. Best shift time IMHO.

I use the s2l-I like the converter to lock up earlier, which it does at 45mph.

i started with the S1L ..then the S1M..did not like the 4th gear TCLockup....
so now I've been in the S2L for 300+mi ...added some Mercon LV to the trans to get rid of the hard 3rd to 4th shift....
Looking back at the Re-learn...i did it more like the Spartan instructions....
pretty smooth at this point. I am running the "HOT" setting (Mini Maxx)
I have not towed anything since moving to the S2L...I will as soon as i have time.....and report back.
I have the 3.31 rear.
