Defuel settings and tunes with mini max

I was wondering if it's advisable to run the hot or wild tune but then use e Defuel settings to disable it below 180 and above 240 or so eot and ect with egt at 1400? I've seen some post that they get best mpg on the hotter tunes. Wouldn't this just allow the higher tune to run when the truck is at operating temp but roll tuning back to stock until the truck warmed up or if it started running too hot?

That is precisely what "Defueling" is designed to do. It will keep your truck at stock HP levels (No Power setting) when outside of safe operating temperatures.

We suggest 160 for cold coolant and 220 for hot coolant.

Those settings work great, though I never get close to 220F.
