Tuners?

Hey guys. Im going to be deleting soon and am heavily leaning towards a mini maxx with a diamond eye exhaust, but being as i'm doing this for fuel efficiency as well as saving my engine, i have to ask if anyone has anything to say about thr dpf-r+ units. I don't see many of any of you guys running it.

Similar mileage to the H&S and Spartan tuners but only comes with a 70hp economy tune. Allows you to delete the DPF and disable/delete the EGR's. Costs about $600 with pipe. As fun as adding 300HP is, its not gonna last as long as a truck that was simply deleted running stock or relatively stock power.

You don't see allot of people running it because most people want the higher power tunes the others come with.

I just put the dpf-r+ with cat/dpf delete on my 2010 and am pretty pleased, the 70hp economy really makes the truck haul a**. Plus it increased my mpg by atleast 5 on the hwy.

Forget the DPF-R, go with the Mini and Diamond Eye exhaust, you will be happy you did. Also, I suggest getting an air intake as the stock box will not be able to keep up. Give us a holler if you have any questions.

Nate, i will definitely be going with you guys. I'm curious though how loud a diamond eye 5" will be and also whether or not its worth it to go turbo back or not.

It will be one of your package deals, so an intake will be coming as well.

Honestly the 5" is not too loud. It sounds nice outside at WOT but not much louder in the cab. I went with turbo back. THe stock down pipe is pretty small.

5" not loud at all,, big advantage to the maxx is the customer support,,, if you were to have a problem, you can talk to them directly. Buy a Bully tuner or the like and try talking to the guys that write the tunes.... not going to happen....plus the big 2 tuner companies H and S and Spartan... are on this site...

What experiences have you guys had replacing the downpipe? Especially id you've used diamond eye. I've heard they're a little tight.
