S1M Tranny Tune..I LIKE This Tune..Anyone Else?
After trying ALL the different tranny tunes I ended up going back to the one that came with the Mini Maxx which is the S1M. For most of my driving (county roads with 45-50mph speed limits) I really like the shift points and tc locks. I usually run the truck up to about 55-56mph and 5th TC kicks in. Then I can drive at 50mph and it stays locked in 5th. And if I'm on a 45mph road in 4th with the tc engaged the excelleration is really nice. I tow my 33' travel trailer on the mild setting with the tow mode engaged and this also works real nice. Most of my driving is on the hot setting.

doesn't work for me, but there are six of them for a reason!
I will say that if I'm on a 45mph road, I'm unlocked in 5th and acceleration is really nice

S2L for me too. TC locks in 5th at 45 mph.

when I had the S1M loaded , it seems like the trans was always hunting back and forth between 4th and 5th.....very irritating and probably not good for the machinery loaded the S1L and like it a little better , but still have the same issue at times will probably try one of the S2 s when I get the time |

I usually run the S1L but have been running the S2L for the last 2 tanks and can't wait to change it back. The S2L runs higher trans temps because it's always slipping than the S1 trans tunes.
