h & s or spartan?

hey guys also i was curious out of the two tuners spartan and H & S which one is better? my truck already has the xrt pro on it at the moment but spartan seems to say they sell the best programmer for my truck and nobody else even compares to them? thanks for yalls opinions on this

no it just gets asked everyday.... LET IT BE KNOWN: people with spartan love spartan and people with H&S love H&S and people with SCT love SCT. With that being said... get an H&S mini maxx and never look back.

sell the xrt pro and get a mini max and call it a day. you have the tunes your use to and a monitor with shift on the fly options. I've ran both and like H&S tunes better, but thats me.

Mini Maxx. Nothing is wrong with the Spartan but more things are right with the H&S.

The DashDAQ is a superior tuning device and we offer more tunes than H&S. H&S tuning has proven itself though. You're not hurting yourself using that tuning.

You honestly can't go wrong either way. It all comes down to personal preference in the end. I think the DashDAQ speaks for itself though.

Do you have to have an aftermarket air filter to run a Mini Maxx or Spartan programmer? I know it's recommend for the Mini Maxx but would it be bad if you ran it with the stock air filter? I have to money for the Mini Maxx and I am about to pull the trigger and buy it, but I don't have the extra 300-500 for the aftermarket air filter just yet. Should I wait and buy it all together in 5 months when I have the money or go ahead and buy the Mini Maxx or Spartan now?

Dont wait, its not necessary for intake..unless you run the high hp tunes. I ran spartan (210,250) for a year with stock air...
