And Another PTP Thread...

After months of procrastination and a little research, I finally pulled the trigger on a tuner package. Thanks to PTP I have a H&S Mini-Maxx with mounts, a 4" stainless Diamond Eye downpipe back exhaust and, most importantly, a H&S t-shirt on the way! These will go with my aFe Stage II PDS intake nicely, I think...

Where there's black smoke, there's a smile! Off-road, or course.

Thanks Nate and PTP!

I was just reading your sig and upcoming mods, I installed all my mods this afternoon and only ended up with one busted knuckle. I was unbolting the exhaust at the downpipe and some soot fell on the cut and stopped that blood dang fast.

I was just happy to see a little soot actually. Last time I saw some of that black stuff was back 8 months ago when I was still in my 2004 5.9....I miss that truck some days, but then I get in my new one and love it!

When you took off the pipe that connected to the down pipe were those two nuts welded on there? Mine were just curious if they did that to all of them?

Yes the nuts were welded on, and it was a ***** to get the backside bolt out and then back on. I was expecting it to be that hard.....Finally got it though with a 4" extension.

Sorry I missed you the other night at everbank field, was still driving around with the realtor and didn't get there until after the show started. Sounds like sweet stuff you got coming. Be aware that the nuts are welded to the flange on the downpipe connection and you'll probably have to cut the exhaust over the axel to get it out ( needed to cut on my DRW, may be different on SRW), but overall its nothing to complicated.
