No smoke tune?

Is there a way to delete my dpf + H&S tune with no smoke? I dont care about the smoke one way or the other, but the thought of getting pulled over for it and getting a fix it ticket really does not appeal to me. I would like the extra HP and MPG but really would rather do without the smoke for legality concerns... Do you really have to stomp on it to generate smoke or if I keep driving like a grandpa can I avoid the smoke all together?

Ok...how much smoke do you put out if you just accelerate out of a stop sign normally? If a cop is behind me and I am not driving like a maniac will it still smoke?

Maybe just a lil haze. You will be fine, set the defuel to 0.

I am probably too paranoid but some of these inspection rumors have me freaked out!

On 0 low boost fueling very very little if any at all, I'm running mine on 3 and if you accelerate normally and smoothly you will not see any visible smoke. If you jump on the throttle it'll put out a good puff tho.

Idk about the 6.4 but I do know that my 6.0 on the highest tune performance tune the only time it puts out any smoke is at an idle dead stop if I flat foot it a good puff and that's it. If the turbo is spooled up just a little bit no smoke. So I would guess if you did the dpf delete on your truck and ran the defuel on 0 as long as you don't stand on it you shouldn't get any smoke. But I would guess the same if the turbo is spooled up maybe 1200 rpm or better it might not smoke if you open that baby up. My 2 cents

Our 210 and lower tunes barely smoke at all, even at hard throttle. You'll see a little more in the heat of the summer, but during the winter they smoke virtually none at normal throttle.

This is very true! I run the 210 tune & unless I stand on it from a dead stop it smokes very little if at all!
