Adavantage of adding chip

Would it be worth putting a chip on my 09 F 250? I'm currently looking at chipping just to hopefully improve my MPG but the catch is I can't do a DPF delete d/t warranty. I've heard that on Ford's it's pretty easy to mount/unmount a chip and it won't "show up" if I have an issue and need to return it to the dealer. Thoughts or input?
Chris

It's a tune really, not a chip.
But you won't gain a lot without deleting the DPF/DOC. And with enough looking and a $10k+ IDS tool, I'm sure a Ford Tech can find anything.

It is a waste of money if your not gonna do the dpf delete.. All your gonna do by tuning your truck without taking the dpf off is clog up the filter

We have several customers running the H&S DPF-on tunes with good results. We have also heard decent results from the Banks tuners which are completely emissions safe.

As said above you wont get much improvement with out getting rid of the dpt. You can still tune it but would be a waste of money and time in my opinion.
