Which Tunner

I have a 08 6.4 and was wondering what programmer would be the best to run I have been looking and doing some reading but still not sure I like the h&s minni maxx or the sct live wire extreme. Any suggestions or feed back would be a big help thanks

H&S or Spartan are the best tuners for 6.4's

Popular choice is if you need to change tunes for towing often then get H&S

If you are mostly in the racing tune then get Spartan. Spartan WILL have tow tunes, they are just not shift on the fly like H&S


Both tuners you will not go wrong with

pretty much H&S or spartan. Like said before H&S is shift on the fly and spartan isnt. I have spartan and i couldnt be happier. I have a buddy that has H&S and he couldnt be happier they are both great tuners.

Thanks that's what I'm hearing I like the shift on the fly and the price on h&s. Not gonna do a lot of racing just want some more mpg and pep but thanks for the input how hard is it to do the deletes myself I have access to a lift at work???

Pretty easy i did it in a garage by myself just needed a jack.

I have Spartan and absolutly love it but also a buddy of mine has the H&S and i drove his truck yesterday and it felt good...

Love my H&S and the new updates with the Tranny tunes is great. Plus if you ever want something different you can also run KEM Racing tunes!

Assuming you mean DPF/CAT delete (not EGR delete) I didn't need a jack. With my stock, 08 4X4, I could slide under the truck (belly and all) on a creeper. A little time with a 1/2" socket and all is good. Took me 45mins the last time I did it. Putting it back on is a little more time because it weighs a bit

Oh, and I am not a mechanic... and only marginally mechanically inclined at best.
