BlackMaxx Arrived Today Tune Question

Ok guys my BlackMaxx came in today and i need to know if i should just go ahead and download the 300 tune or wait a while also with my lift and tires what trans tune should i run i would like to update my memory card before i even install it... and when it says download lates software is that what i have on the card already from H&s

come on guys i would like some advice before i install and download for the first time.. easy tunes or 300 tune?

Try the default tunes first, they are great. I have found that i like sm2 transtune the best. Locks in 5th @ 55 mph. II ran the 300 for a day, to much without studs and a transmision. If the black max is like the mini it came with the sm1 trans tune.

I would also run the tunes that are on it, you can always change later if you feel the need.

I agree with both . I like the sm2 the best for trans tune .

i would run the standard tunes first, so you can build a reference point to get a feel for what you like best..... the highest hp tune is not necessarily the tune you will like best....i have gone back and forth from the hot and hot damn tunes
