Banks Intercooler

Ok so i got a sick deal on a Banks Intercooler for my truck today and am very happy lol!!! It's a little dirty but other then that looks like new and got it from a customer for $300 Anyone ever paint the Banks I/C???

Soak it in some simple green to clean it out. You can paint it, but the look good all polished up behind the grille.

The Banks is painted black i wish it was polished! Im gonna clean it and just give the tanks a light coat of fresh paint.

I know its black, but if its a big mess and you are going to spend time cleaning it, you could just strip the paint off too.

I just spent a little time this morning and i scothbrited,washed,primed,painted and cleared it!!! Gonna put it in the truck tonight after its dried

Fit like a glove I honestly dont feel a difference but ill be able to see if it was worth it next week ill be pulling my big trailer to PA to drop of my fathers dragster to get some chassis work done

I bet you will notice a pretty nice drop in your EGT's when DDing and towing. Thats an awesome deal!.... wish I could come across a deal like that. Let us know after you drive it a good bit

not to get off the subject but has anyone use the Injen Power-Flow Air Intake System PF9050 on a 04 6.0 looking to upgrade the stock one going to order the banks inner cooler kit tomorrow
