Suggestions please! H&s xrt,cat & dpf delete
I am fixing to order the h&s xrt tuner. Cat and dpf delete pipes. S&b intake. I'm am looking for pro's and con's. Does anyone have this setup? What do y'all think of this setup?

i would step up to the mini max, so that you have gauges and you can take advantage of shift on the fly.....monitoring your tucks outputs is pretty important if you are changing up the programming...

Also this is my daily driver I am doing this to increase mpg's. Does anyone else run this system on a daily driver

Nice truck man. Thanks for the suggestion I was kind of thinking the same thing but I thought since I was not doing it all for the power it would be fine to go with the cheaper tuner.

Also if I get the mini max I really wouldn't want to mount it up on the dash. Please post some pics of installed programmers. Any ideas or advice is appreciated

My two cents. Get the mini max instead of the xrt. Adding 200-300 hp to your truck is awesome but if you don't watch things like egts you can destroy that $11k hunk of metal under your hood. Plus the shift on the fly is pure awesomeness!

I did the same thing. Got the xrt pro and delete pipe just to improve fuel mileage and reliability, not really need or want the extra horses. The truck has plenty of power for me at stock levels. I run on the "no power" setting and plan to continue so didn't really see the need for guages. jmo.

Thanks guys. I just ordered mini max. Are y'all running these trucks as daily drivers with hot tunes?

I'm interested in doing this to my 08 6.4 also. A local shop quoted me $800 for the installation of mini maxx and dpf delete which seems pretty high to me.
How hard is the installation? Do you have to drill or weld on the firewall? I don't have a way to lift my truck but can get under it on my back - is that sufficient to install the dpf delete? Last question - any recommended vendor for the mini-maxx and dpf delete? Thx - Mike |

The install wasn't to bad at all. Me and a buddy did mine in a hour or two. There wasn't any welding involved either. I would recommend performance
truck products. Sent from my Autoguide iPhone app |
